Joined Toyo Engineering Corporation in 1971, after graduating & receiving Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tohoku University in Japan.

His major career with Toyo centers in E&C Project Management. He has been practicing leadership as Project Manager from 1983 to 2000 for a variety of projects such as fertilizers, oil refinery and petrochemical in Indonesia, Egypt, Iraq, India and Japan.

In April 2000, he was appointed General Manager of Business Development and Marketing Division, and selected Director, Member of the Board of Toyo Engineering Corporation. He was appointed Deputy Division Director of Overseas Sales and Operations Unit in 2001. In 2002, he became Director and Senior Executive Officer, and assumed President and Chief Executive Officer in 2004.

He is a Member of the Board of Directors, Nippon Keidanren (Japan Business Federation).
